Submissions for 2025 are now open!

 We are now accepting submissions for the 2025 Magic of Horror Festival, which will take place on October 26 in Wakefield, VA.

REGULAR SUBMISSIONS

Accepting short films (under 40 min), screenplays (up to 120 pages), film posters, and film trailers. We also have a special category for our popular "Give Us Your Worst" film contest.

All submissions will receive the initial scorecard used by the jury and short notes, regardless of whether or not the project is selected for the festival.

ART & PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

This year we are featuring a horror art show and contest at the festival. There are two categories: Horror Artwork and Horror Photography.

Awards Show Video Premiere

 Can't make it to the festival? Our annual Awards Show Video will be premiering on our YouTube channel on October 5th at 7pm (EST).

The show includes teasers and trailers for all of the films that are shown at the festival this year, as well as announcing the winners of the various awards.

During the premiere we will also have a live chat with online attendees.
